Are you ready to deepen your approach to pet photography?
Welcome to L3 Education, a space dedicated to photographers who want to move beyond the basics and create meaningful, emotive imagery. Here, you’ll receive personalised guidance from Lena Lewis, multi-award-winning pet photographer and Top 10 International Pet Photographer of the Year 2024.
This is education rooted in artistry — not presets and shortcuts, but understanding light, emotion, connection, and intention behind every frame.
Personalised Mentoring & Training
At present, education is offered through in-person one-to-one photography and editing sessions, tailored entirely to your experience level and creative goals.
Whether you’re learning to confidently shoot in manual mode, refining your use of natural light, or developing a consistent fine-art editing style, each session is shaped around your needs — not a rigid curriculum.
You’ll learn in real environments, with live subjects, guided gently but thoroughly through both the technical and creative process.
Photography Mentoring
Develop confidence behind the camera while learning how to:
work with light intentionally
create expressive, emotive portraits
refine composition and storytelling
photograph pets with patience, awareness, and respect
Sessions include hands-on shooting time, allowing you to practice techniques in real time with guidance throughout.
Editing Education
Editing is where your artistic voice is refined.
Through personalised Lightroom and Photoshop sessions, you’ll learn how to:
create depth and mood
develop a cohesive fine-art style
understand colour, tone, and contrast
edit with intention rather than imitation
From foundational workflows to advanced techniques, each session is paced to support your growth without overwhelm.
Online editing education and small group sessions will be introduced in the future, allowing continued learning from anywhere.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your journey or seeking to refine an established style, L3 Education offers a calm, supportive environment to learn, create, and evolve as an artist.
